The Land and Property Gazetteer (LPG) is the Council's corporate address database. It forms part of a government initiative to standardise addresses across the nation, called the National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG). |

Schools for children aged 4-11. We have 51 state-run primary schools in the Borough. |
| Secondary schools: |
Schools for children aged 11-16. We have nine state-run secondary schools in the Borough. |
| Secondary school designated areas: |
Areas whose residents are allocated to a specific secondary school. Previously called catchment areas. |
| Special schools: |
Schools for children with special needs. We have two state-run special schools in the Borough. |
